Royal Icing Recipe

3 lb 8 oz 1/2 oz |
Powdered Sugar Cream of Tartar |
Sift ingredients together. |
| 1 cup | Egg Whites | Gradually add egg whites to sugar to a loose consistency then whip to peaks and a firm consistency. |
| Be sure that royal icing has enough air whipped into it for strength. If it sets for a while, just re-whip before using. |
