Royal Icing Recipe          

3 lb 8 oz
1/2 oz
Powdered Sugar
Cream of Tartar
Sift ingredients together.
1 cup Egg Whites Gradually add egg whites to sugar to a loose consistency then whip to peaks and a firm consistency.
    Be sure that royal icing has enough air whipped into it for strength.  If it sets for a while, just re-whip before using.
